2008 European Job Board Market Report
(published by Aktor Interactive)

Recruiting internationally? - Need information on foreign job boards & markets?

Aktor Interactive, a France based European consultant specialised in international on-line recruitment and multi-posting, has just published their 4th edition of the “International Market Report on European Job Sites” .

The publication includes 67 exhaustive profiles of the most widely-used generalist job boards across 29 European countries. By summarising key information on the European e-recruitment practices and trends, this report is designed to guide HR professionals when searching for the most suitable job sites in Europe.

According to the report the number of job advertisements being published is rising steadily and the top priority for the industry is to drive more candidate traffic to their sites. To do this, job boards are now including, for example, video, more general information for candidates such as salary surveys and interview techniques and are refining their CV databases.

As a special feature, international recruiters are provided with recommendations on each job site and new to this edition are editorials that examine regional outlooks and trends from several guest authors: HRM.de (Germany), Dorskind Group (USA), MyHRM.at (Austria), HRMinfo.net (Belgium), online-recruiting.net (International) as well as ONREC (UK).

This valuable report provides not only media and rate card data for each job board, but in addition, readers are awarded information on the site’s latest innovations, strategic positioning, marketing activities, commercial partnerships and, where possible, the repartition of the candidates’ profiles in their CV databases. It also examines internet trends as well as posting format and cultural trends with, for example, the British and French markets tending toward text listings and German and Austrian advertisers opting more for corporate layouts.

The report is available in print and contains more than 170 pages (in English).
